She completed a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology in 2016, is registered with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Prior to completing her university studies, she worked as a child and family counsellor at Anglicare, where she developed a strong desire to support families.
At Windsor Allied Health, Rebecca works using a variety of evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Play Therapy. She understands the pressures of family life and is motivated to work with families to find creative and workable therapeutic strategies.
Rebecca works compassionately with families and schools to provide cognitive and behavioural assessment, including the diagnosis of learning disorders, ADHD and Autism. With considerable lived experience, she appreciates the emotional challenges parents may experience during this process and guides them with empathy and understanding.
You may spot Rebecca around Door of Hope in one of her volunteer roles. In her spare time, Rebecca likes to recharge in her garden. She is currently restoring an old, cast-iron fountain.
