As a registered counsellor with a particular passion for working with children and families, Fran offers a warm, practical, and strengths-based approach to therapy. She also serves as Practice Assistant to the Director and Clinical Psychologist. Her work has a strong focus on capacity building and participation in everyday life. Using age-appropriate and play-based therapeutic approaches, she creates engaging and supportive sessions where children can express themselves, build skills, and grow in confidence. She values collaboration and, where appropriate, works alongside parents, carers, support coordinators, and other professionals to support meaningful and consistent outcomes across home, school, and community settings.
Fran has completed training in Basic Bible Counselling and Ethics and is continuing her professional development through DIRFloortime® training, further strengthening her interest in relationship-based, developmental, and play-based approaches.
Her work is grounded in compassion, integrity, and respect, with a strong commitment to recognising each person's unique strengths, values, needs, and life experiences.
Fran is a mum of two teenagers, loves being in the outdoors and spending time with her family and friends.
